Law, Forms & Tools
Companies
Company compliance combines lawful decisions, accurate registers and official filings. Identify the corporate action before opening a portal: incorporation, an annual return, a director change, a share transaction and closure are different processes. The company’s constitution and the applicable law provide the decision framework.
1. Keep the legal identity consistent
Reconcile the certificate, name, registered office, objects, directors, shareholders and constitutional documents. Record a change with its decision and effective evidence. A trade name, bank description or invoice header should not silently replace the company’s legal particulars.
2. Prepare the decision before filing
Identify whether the board, shareholders or another authority must decide the matter. Retain notices, quorum, conflicts, supporting papers, resolutions and signed minutes as applicable. A portal entry should be supported by the actual authorised decision.
3. Connect corporate and financial work
Keep capital, share, loan and distribution records linked to the accounts and tax analysis. A corporate approval does not automatically establish a tax concession or transfer legal title to an asset. Preserve each approval, transaction document and accounting bridge separately.
4. Maintain the annual and event calendar
Track recurring accounts, audit and filings along with event-based changes. Record preparation, review, submission and completion evidence. For an overdue action, identify the applicable charge and correction or regularisation route instead of assuming that a tax-clearance certificate settles the company record.
